Before Consilia enters [Focus Mode], a reminder window with three principles will pop up by default. As long as you can really implement these three principles, I believe you can maximize your reading effect.
1. Please clear the distracting clutter on the table first
Any clutter in your sight that is not related to reading will cause you to be distracted and slow down your learning speed. So before starting, it is best to clean up the desktop, even if it is a mobile phone, please try to keep it out of sight or cover it up.(No kidding, even a phone with the screen off can still keep you distracted)
2. Take a few deep breaths and think about what I want to do and what I will get.
This is to calm the emotions and inspire inner motivation to read. Reading passively and casually reading is not very effective. It is better for us to read in an active and deliberate state. Reading a book is a bit like playing the game of "Spot the Difference". It's not just that you can memorize it, you need to find out the differences between various key test types, and then you can use it in the test room.
3. Before completing the task, take 30 seconds to record the key points.
Before you finish reading a piece of progress and want to swipe to complete the progress, you can use an input method that supports speech-to-text, simply and concisely write the key points into the task detail column in your own words, or write directly in the book. The meaning of this action is: "Force yourself to sort out clues that are easy to retrieve memory", so you don't need to write in too much detail, just a few conceptual points are enough. The next time you encounter the progress of the same review, click on it to take a look and quickly recall it, which can speed up the review time and strengthen memory.
Note: I have considered making a recording function to record the key points, but because of some technical problems and the difficulty of voice search, please use an input method that supports voice-to-text (such as Google's Gboard - Google Keyboard) to shorten the recording time. If written directly in the book, there will be no such problems.
